| CLICK HERE FOR THE BROCHURE AND AGENDA
9:00AM-3:30PM
With President Obama’s term well underway, changes in the workplace are occurring at the speed of light. Administrative changes at Federal Government agencies, some recess appointments, will more dramatically change the workplace rules employers have to comply with.
Changes in Washington, D.C. are further complicated by the economy, whether a V-shaped recovery or double-dip recession. As the economy struggles to regain some sense of normalcy following the recession, employers search for safe harbor to avoid ever-increasing employment claims.
With employment laws and enforcement claims on fast-track, this one-day, comprehensive seminar will show you what employers need to know to meet these workplace challenges.
Don’t miss this opportunity to get an overview of the most critical labor and employment law issues affecting employers!
BONUS: The latest information on legislative initiatives to change the bargaining law to allow unions an even greater advantage. |

The trainer chose from electives (½ hour each) and optional topics related to those most popular among Michigan businesses. Every minute of the class will be used to meet those requirements. In the event the DOL makes changes to the requirements, MI Chamber and the trainer will make sure those are included. Federal regulations prevent the trainer from issuing a 10-hour card unless the student has attended all of the session: in other words, don’t be late and you can’t leave early! Trainer Biography: Laura Simms, President of PROFESSORDOCTORMOM, LLC, is a lifelong Michigander. She has spent 30+ years in the electrical industry and co-authored/edited 21 electrical textbooks. Laura prides herself on interactive, interesting training and her January 2010 lockout/tagout seminar received rave reviews.
